Last week, we had the pleasure of organizing a STEM outreach activity, “Sensing Life: Detecting the Invisible with Biosensors,” as part of the STEM Week at the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture (UGent). It was truly inspiring to see the curiosity and creativity of the students we engaged with.

We have a vacancy at imec for a PhD on Event-Driven Neuromorphic IC Architectures for Energy-Efficient Implantable Biosensing.

You will design and develop an ASIC for implantable biosensors featuring neuromorphic on-chip signal processing for energy-efficient bio-signal analysis.

The work involves front-end design, SoC integration, and prototype validation.
