🌿 Why We Need Sustainable Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs)
PCBs are the main part of all electronics, but they're hard to recycle and create huge amounts of e-waste.
Traditional PCBs are made from fiberglass and epoxy resin. These materials are not environmentally friendly, and their disposal often involves burning or landfilling.
That’s why biopolymers like PLA and PHB are so exciting. These materials are:
✅ Made from renewable resources
✅ Biodegradable or recyclable
✅ Lower in carbon footprint
Using biopolymers as PCB substrates could help create greener, more circular electronics.
