We're offering an exciting PhD position focused on real-time, in-situ monitoring of environmental and mechanical parameters within photovoltaic (PV) modules. With global PV capacity surpassing 2 TW, ensuring long-term reliability, especially in harsh climates, is more critical than ever.

Your mission?
Develop and integrate advanced sensor technologies to monitor strain, temperature, and humidity inside encapsulated PV systems. You'll explore cutting-edge materials, coatings, and embedding strategies, and validate your findings through rigorous calibration and testing.
